Delivery & Returns

The ChessBaron has free shipping anywhere in Canada and charges no handling fees. You don’t get charged at the checkout in a store for the assistant to put your purchase in a bag and, unlike our competitors, we don’t charge for that either! We ship within 24 hours of receiving your order. We use UPS or Fedex to ship all packages, with some rare exceptions. Typically packages take 3-4 days to reach any part of Canada.

Are you in a hurry? Forgot a birthday? Need a gift urgently? Please contact us by email or phone and we can arrange for an overnight service at an additional cost. If you want your purchase delivered overseas, please go ahead with your order and we’ll contact you with the actual shipping costs. There is no commitment, if they are too high for your budget, you’ll always be able to change your mind and be refunded. We do have operations in other countries that may be able to ship to your required destination at a lower cost.

Returns

If any product is damaged in transit please notify us as soon as you receive it and we will arrange an immediate resolution.

We also appreciate that when buying on the internet you cannot hold the product in your hand before making a decision. We therefore commit to being reasonable in regard to exchanges and refunds should you change your mind on receipt of the goods. In the event that you wish to return goods non-defective goods we do reserve the right to charge a 10% restocking fee. Please note that you will need to notify a return with 14 days of receipt. However our primary mission is to maintain good relationships with our customers and therefore we strive to be accommodating wherever possible.
