The Soviet Yumyon Triple Weighted Chess Set

The Russian influence on this remarkable chess design is the opposing colour on the top of several of the pieces – the Kings, the Queens and the Bishops. The set of chess pieces is Tournament sized, triple weighted, and the set has double Queens. The rooks are as slender and graceful as Boris Yeltsin, as statesman-like as Gorbachev, and as unconventional as Putin himself (we love you Vlad, please don’t poison us).
