A wonderful smaller high quality chess set. Great detail on the knight showing high quality of workmanship in carving. This Jacques style comes in three King sizes, the 4 inch and the 5 inch. For lovers of Staunton this set has no equal in it’s size and quality. The wood is the best budrose. The luxury chess set is triple weighted and felt bottomed. The set takes up much less room than the 4 inch Kings and can easily be accommodated with a board of 1.5 inch squares. The weighting, detail and size (where space is at a premium) makes this luxury chess set an excellent choice amongst our entire inventory.
