A little more tradition please! Well, a little closer to it anyway. In the mid-priced section these chess pieces are among our favorite. They remind us of a totem pole. And no, I don’t say that about every set. Just a few carved design lines seem to make a huge difference. These sheesham wood chess pieces have ornate carvings with an attractive, more traditional shape to compliment their creative design. The king chess piece is 3.75 inches in height with a base of 1.25 inches. The carvings cover the full height of the King and the piece has a curved symmetry that is really attractive. You’ll be dancing around the chess set like a totem pole dancing for rain. The board for this set should have 1.5 inch squares or greater.
