The ChessBaron has free shipping anywhere in Canada and charges no handling fees. You don't get charged at the checkout in a store for the assistant to put your purchase in a bag and, unlike our competitors, we don't charge for that either!
We ship within 48 hours of receiving your order. We use Canada Post to ship all packages. Packages are sent using the Canada Post Regular Parcel service which takes 2 - 8 business days to reach you. Once we have shipped your order we send you an email with the tracking details. All orders are shipped from Hamilton, Ontario

- Newfoundland/Labrador 4-6 business days
- Northwest Territories 6-8 business days

- Ontario 1-3 business days

Are you in a hurry? Forgot a birthday? Need a gift urgently? Please contact us by email or phone and we can arrange for an overnight service at an additional cost. If you want your purchase delivered overseas, please go ahead with your order and we'll contact you with the actual shipping costs. There is no commitment, if they are too high for your budget, you'll always be able to change your mind and be refunded. We do have operations in other countries that may be able to ship to your required destination at a lower cost.
If any product is damaged in transit please notify us as soon as you receive it and we will arrange an immediate exchange. In the event that we do not have further stock of the item in question then at your discretion we will either provide an alternative product or a prompt refund.
We also appreciate that when buying on the internet you cannot hold the product in your hand before making a decision. We therefore commit to being reasonable in regard to exchanges and refunds should you change your mind on receipt of the goods. In the event that you wish to return goods non-defective goods we do reserve the right to charge a 10% restocking and administration fee. However our primary mission is to maintain good relationships with our customers and therefore we strive to be accommodating wherever possible.
